Once upon a time…

Or would it be better to say; ln the beginning…

we all moved house.

And it might only have been 15 miles but I carried every last thing here on my back. One by one. Boy generously helped by sending his skate/snowboard to the dump and I was allowed to chuck out 15 festering birds nests belonging to Urch.

So now we live in peace and harmony in The Metropolis, completely off the grid of modern communications. So, sorry to everyone trying to contact me. Some unknown server tells me I have messages stacking up but who knows how to find them? I have reluctantly relinquished my blackberry. Boy said it was a collectors item – how old can it be …. blackberries are a modern invention. Dr Cox has one just like mine! Yes but that episode of Scrubs was filmed 5 years ago… I bought 2 iphones last week. Orange never bothered to connect me. I when back to the shop, down the road, down the next road, and PING it sprang into life.  Absolutely no reception on my street. Slightly better with O2 as long as it sits on the piano facing East.

This is supposed to be a photography blog, but it’s my first entry and quite honestly I have no idea how to upload images except one at a time. Amazon has a nice book about it but that’s US Amazon, and what with the post in the UK, its a bit of a no no. In addition my den of creation is jammed with uninspiring boxes. I enter and cry.

However, whilst moving I did participate in the Lucy Greave Christmas Fair. This fair is in aid of WellChild. The charity supports parents in their hour of need and having been a parent in need, I will support it. It was a good opportunity to re-connect More later. with people who I hadn’t seen since my sabbatical. And to promote the Tantra shoots.

I also spent two happy days in The Theatre Chipping Norton, making promo pictures of the Pantomime. See, now it’s all making sense. I couldn’t call this entry ‘It’s behind you’, because it very  it very much isn’t. Wonderful Venue, Wonderful Panto.

When I first moved to the Cotswolds my sistier told me l had to book panto tickets in August or else those londoners (small I) got all the good seats. The posh cousins would be rows infront of me. And they were. There is no panto better than the Chippy Panto.
